Dr. Ellen Dayan – Biography Born in Toronto, Dr. Dayan obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario and graduated from the U. of T. Faculty of Dentistry in 1989. In her desire to provide excellence to her clients, she has continued her studies through the Pankey Institute for Advance Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida and serves on the Executive Council of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Dayan is married to Dr. Willy Dayan, a specialist in orthodontics and together they have four children, Laurel, Ariel, Jamie, and Jory. As well as a full family life, Dr. Dayan enjoys fitness, reading, movies, theater, travel, and personal spirituality. She consistently strives for the balance of work, play, love, and spirituality that provides an exceptional quality of life. “My first concern is with every patient is their health. It's not all about cosmetic dentistry but about a healthy smile for a lifetime. Today's advancements in dentistry are moving at light speed. It is an exciting profession where we now as practitioners have the ability to educate ourselves to helping our patients in ways we only dreamed of in dental school. With the advancements in materials, techniques and dental implants, teeth once thought hopeless can be saved to look and function like new again. Helping my patients look younger is wonderful but knowing that my patients are receiving dentistry that supports their overall health and longevity is very rewarding to me.” |
